What this unit does
For sustainable packaging, our efforts are aimed at minimizing the effect on the environment while maintaining the necessary level of protection, strength, and printability for the product. We collaborate with our packaging teams to select materials and structures that minimize material usage and recycling potential.
This includes recyclable mono-material packaging, such as PE or PP structures, as well as kraft paper pouches and bread bags for brands looking for paper-based packaging options. We also look at lightweight packaging that uses less film while maintaining seal strength and product shelf life.
All projects begin with the product and how it must be protected. The packaging material, manufacturing process, and recycling potential are then evaluated to develop flexible packaging solutions that not only perform well but also have an effective end-of-life strategy as well.
