What this unit does
Plastic Films unit manufactures the plastic films used in all our printing and converting processes. The high-speed production lines manufacture both single and multi-layered PE films, which are structurally diverse for different purposes like strength, flexibility, barrier, and excellent sealing properties.
Alongside extrusion, the unit runs vacuum metallizing and holographic origination. Pak Packages is the industry's leading producer of highly technical metallized film, and Pak-Met integrates flexo printing into the metallizer to print high-resolution graphics in metal at up to 400 m/min, with stripe and selective metallization for windows and in-register effects.
Holographic films, metallized or transparent, on PET, BOPP, and PVC give brands a strong anti-counterfeiting layer and premium shelf visibility.
